At Samyak Sankalp, we are committed to transforming the lives of children in need by providing essential support in the form of free meals, education, and healthcare. Our mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive. By addressing the critical needs of nourishment, learning, and wellness, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for these children. Through the support of our generous donors and dedicated volunteers, we are making a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable children, empowering them to dream big and reach their full potential. Together, we can build a better tomorrow—one child at a time.

Samyak Sankalp was co-founded by Ruhaan Jain, Tanisha Jain, and Tanmay Jain after the COVID pandemic to provide relief to children affected by it. We work with local charities like Seva Dharma Foundations, Faith Alingan etc. by providing volunteer support and raise funds for their operations.

Our Team

Ruhaan Jain [Co-Founder, Member]

Ruhaan is a senior at Waubonsie Valley High School and a founding member of Samyak Sankalp. His journey in social work began in 2018 when he volunteered as a food packer at Feed My Starving Children. Since then, he has been an active contributor to Samyak Sankalp. Ruhaan is passionate about social work, particularly for charities that support children and animals. He regularly volunteers with the Animal Rescue Foundation and the Humane Society. Ruhaan has helped raise over $5,000 for Samyak Sankalp and played a key role in saving the lives of multiple cats by facilitating their adoption.

Tanisha Jain [Co-Founder, Member]

Tanisha is a PhD candidate in Marketing (Consumer Behavior) at the University of Mississippi and has been a part of founding member of Samyak Sankalp. Her journey in social work began in 2014 as a music teacher at Faith Aalingan where she taught piano/electronic keyboard to HIV positive children. Since then, she has been an active contributor for Samyak Sankalp.

Tanmay Jain [Co-Founder, Member]

Tanmay is currently working as a Software Engineer 2 with LexisNexis. He holds a BS in computer science from NC State University. He has been a part of Samyak Sankalp since its inception. In 2014, he began his journey in social work by teaching guitar to HIV positive children at Faith Aalingan. Since then, he has been an active contributor for Samyak Sankalp.

Dr. R.A. Nagvekar [MD, FVIR, FNIR; Ex-Asst. Professor, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai]

Dr. R.A. Nagvekar is a Senior Interventional Radiologist at Rajasthan Hospital, Jaipur. He started his journey in the field of Interventional Radiology as a trainee and then asst. professor from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. His areas of specialization include Brain Stroke, Brain Aneurysms coiling, Carotid Angioplasty, Cancer Embolization, Tumor Ablation, Lines and Catheter placements.

Dr. Manish Rajput [DNB, FVIR, PDCC, FRCR (Sch.); Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai; SMS Medical College, Jaipur]

Dr. Manish Rajput is a Senior Interventional Radiologist at Rajasthan Hospital, Jaipur. He completed his training from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Manish comes with an experience of more than 5 years in Tumor (Cancer) Embolization, Tumor Ablation, Varicose veins, Diabetic foot, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, Fibroid, Hemorrhoid and Arthritis surgeries.

Vimla Jain [Volunteer]

Vimla Jain is loving grandmother of Ruhaan, Tanisha, and Tanmay and a dedicated volunteer for Samyak Sanklap. She regularly cooks for children and feed the children.
